Red Hill Resort - Yizheng, China

Wojcik + Associates first international project. Our responsibility was to design and engineer an energy efficient wood framed cabin prototype. Yizheng City is approximately 160 miles outside Shanghai however with the high speed train service, it's only about 50 minutes away including several stops. The development of RedHill Resort consists of hotels, lake, parks, pools and multiple outdoor areas for horseback riding, ultra-lite flying, etc. This cabin is the prototype for roughly 1000 more with small variations and will be used by the people in the city to get away to the countryside for a 'getaway'.
